The Location

Woodward Park

Woodward Park offers the perfect mix of open space, cozy corners, and golden light for capturing your dog at their best. Whether they’re sitting sweetly or zooming through leaves, this setting delivers timeless, personality-filled portraits every time.

Worried about the leash? Don’t be—leashes stay on for safety and are seamlessly edited out later. I’ve worked with hyper pups, anxious dogs, and everything in between. Your dog doesn’t need to be perfect—they just need to be loved.

Hey there! I’m Val!

I’m Pet Obsessed Just like you.

As a proud dog mom, I know how deep that connection runs—and how much joy our pets bring into our lives. My goal? To freeze that joy in time, so you’ll have something beautiful to hold onto even as the seasons change.

In my work as a school psychologist, I’ve seen firsthand how the right image—especially of a beloved dog—can offer comfort, connection, and calm. It’s why I create photography experiences that are relaxed, heartfelt, and full of meaning.

Whether your pup is bold and bouncy or shy and soulful, I’ll help them feel at ease in front of the camera—and you’ll walk away with portraits that truly feel like them.

 Frequently Asked Questions

+ My dog can’t be off-leash? Is that ok?

Absolutely. Most dogs I photograph stay on-leash the entire session for safety. I’ll take care of removing the leash in your final images—so all you’ll see is a polished portrait full of personality.

+ What if it rains? What if I need to reschedule?

If weather gets in the way, I’ll do my best to reschedule your session. And if we can’t make it work, you’ll receive a full refund—no stress.

+ Where will we have our session?

All Bark in the Park sessions will be held at Woodward Park in Fresno, CA on: October 18 & November 1, 2025 You’ll select your preferred time when booking.

+ What if my dog doesn’t sit?

No worries! I’ve worked with shy pups, wiggle-butts, and everything in between. While it’s great if your dog knows a sit or stay, I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to create images you’ll love—no matter their obedience level.

+ Can I be in the images, too?

Yes! You’re part of the story. Family members are welcome to join in on the fun and the frame.

+ Can I bring more than one dog to our session?

Yep! Your session fee covers up to two dogs from the same household. Got more than two? Reach out, and we’ll chat options.
